Village For All

Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture

Semester Long Studio Project

Spring 2021

Rhino 6, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

This design for an early learning center in the Carrick neighborhood of Pittsburgh is a village growing out of the existing community, connecting students to nature through integration with the real world. Each space within the village aims to provide comfort and connection, from the landscape of the central courtyard to the materials used in the classroom spaces. This learning center fosters joy, exploration, and learning through doing. The space invites children of all abilities to grow together in a village for all.
